Hidden Valley Salad Crispins Original Ranch recall

Recalled by Clorox Co (The) · Oakland, CA, United States

Class II — Moderate risk. May cause temporary or reversible harm; serious harm unlikely.

Why it was recalled

The cultured nonfat buttermilk ingredient used in production of the Salad Crispins was recalled by the supplier due to potential metal fragment contamination associated with the lactic acid used in production of the ingredient.

Hard or sharp fragments can cut the mouth or throat, break teeth or cause choking. They usually come from equipment wear or packaging on the production line. All foreign material recalls.
