If you think a food made someone ill
Contact a doctor first. To report it, use the FDA's Report a Problem page or call your state or local health department. For meat, poultry or egg products, report to the USDA Meat and Poultry Hotline through USDA FSIS.
About a recall record
Every recall here shows its FDA recall number, which you can look up in the FDA's enforcement report search. If we have filed a recall under the wrong food or classified its reason wrongly, tell us - the recall number and what you expected are all we need.
