Why it was recalled
Some lots of Kewpie Roasted Sesame Dressing are being recalled because they deviated from European pesticide regulations. The product exceeded the ethylene oxide regulation of 0 05mg/kg.
Some of these cause harm only with repeated exposure (lead in spices, for example), others act within hours (histamine poisoning from spoiled fish). All chemical contamination recalls.
