Why it was recalled

Some Aunt Jemima brand Buttermilk Self-Rising Corn Meal Mix, Quick Grits Enriched with White Hominy, and Buttermilk Self-Rising Corn Meal Mix White have levels of aflatoxin above the legal limit..

Some of these cause harm only with repeated exposure (lead in spices, for example), others act within hours (histamine poisoning from spoiled fish). All chemical contamination recalls.
