Why it was recalled

The Firm was notified by NJ Department of Health of two samples collected from tuna with reported high levels of scombrotoxin.

Some of these cause harm only with repeated exposure (lead in spices, for example), others act within hours (histamine poisoning from spoiled fish). All chemical contamination recalls.
