Routine environmental test samples were positive for Listeria monocytogenes on two processing machines.

Listeria monocytogenes can grow even in the fridge and is especially dangerous in pregnancy.

The most serious food recalls: a contaminated product can cause outbreaks, hospitalisations and deaths, especially for pregnant people, young children, older adults and anyone with a weakened immune system. All bacteria & viruses recalls.

What was recalled

Carrot/whole peeled, Label states "Joe's Pride" and bears the address 9705 I Street, Omaha, NE 68127. Product is packaged in poly bags inside cardboard boxes. All products have a best by date of 10 days after the production date.
