Ocean Garden Wild Co-treated Steak IVP recall

Recalled by Blue Venture Inc. · East Windsor, NJ, United States

Class II — Moderate risk. May cause temporary or reversible harm; serious harm unlikely.

Why it was recalled

NYSDAM analysis has revealed the presence of histamines above the allowable level in Yellowfin Tuna Steaks.

Some of these cause harm only with repeated exposure (lead in spices, for example), others act within hours (histamine poisoning from spoiled fish). All chemical contamination recalls.

FDA lists this recall as terminated: the company has finished removing the product, so it should no longer be on shelves - but it can still be in a freezer or pantry.
