Why it was recalled

Atlantic Fisheries recalled 580 lbs of Mahi Mahi Fillets due to histamine levels over 50 ppm.

Some of these cause harm only with repeated exposure (lead in spices, for example), others act within hours (histamine poisoning from spoiled fish). All chemical contamination recalls.
