Why it was recalled

Sitka Sound Seafoods Hickory Smoked Salmon products are recalled due to the potential contamination with Clostridium botulinum and a contract manufacturer does not have HACCP Plan and does not keep any records for thermal processing.

Clostridium botulinum toxin, a risk in improperly canned or under-processed foods.
