Dragonfly brand Galanga Powder recall

Recalled by U.S. Tov, Inc. · Hayward, CA, United States

Class II — Moderate risk. May cause temporary or reversible harm; serious harm unlikely.

Why it was recalled

New York State Dept of Agriculture and Markets tested Galanga Powder and found it to contain lead.

Some of these cause harm only with repeated exposure (lead in spices, for example), others act within hours (histamine poisoning from spoiled fish). All chemical contamination recalls.
