Tuscan Garden Ranch Dressing recall

Recalled by Richelieu Foods, Inc. · Grundy Center, IA, United States

Class II — Moderate risk. May cause temporary or reversible harm; serious harm unlikely.

Why it was recalled

An incorrect label was applied to the back of ranch dressing bottles. The incorrect label contained the ingredient information for zesty Italian dressing which fails to disclose the presence of milk and egg present in the product.

A label that does not match the product can hide an ingredient someone must avoid, or show a wrong use-by date. All labeling errors recalls.

If your package matches the recalled codes, do not eat it - return it to the store or throw it away. FDA lists this recall as terminated: the company has finished removing the product, so it should no longer be on shelves - but it can still be in a freezer or pantry.
