Why it was recalled

The firm received notification from a consumer finding a glass fragment in Southern Grove Cashew Halves, 8.oz. Source of glass is unknown. It is suspected the glass fragments came in with the raw material.

Hard or sharp fragments can cut the mouth or throat, break teeth or cause choking. They usually come from equipment wear or packaging on the production line. All foreign material recalls.
