Why it was recalled

Kraft Foods is recalling part of one sku of Velveeta Original Pasteurized Recipe Cheese Product because a preservative ingredient was found to be present at levels below specification.

These are failures of the safety steps that keep food safe - cooking, pasteurising, keeping cold, sealing - even when no contaminant has yet been found. All processing & sanitation problems recalls.

What was recalled

Velveeta Original Pasteurized Ripe Cheese Product sold under the Kraft brand and individually wrapped in plastic and sold in a card stock carton with a net weight of 2 lb. (32 oz.).
