Why it was recalled

The wheat germ used by the firm to make their products was recalled by the wheat germ manufacturer because it was potentially contaminated with metal fragments approximately 05.mm in diameter and 3-15 mm in length. The contamination occurred at the raw ingredient manufacturer.

Hard or sharp fragments can cut the mouth or throat, break teeth or cause choking. They usually come from equipment wear or packaging on the production line. All foreign material recalls.

What was recalled

Wheat Crackers, packaged in cellophane sleeve wrap, 6.4 oz each. Sold in individual sleeves or in a case of 12 packages (cello sleeves).
