Mozzarella cheese sticks are breaded Mozzarella Stick designed to… recall

Recalled by Great American Appetizers, Inc. · Nampa, ID, United States

Class II — Moderate risk. May cause temporary or reversible harm; serious harm unlikely.

Why it was recalled

Mozzarella cheese contains Soy Flour but the Ingredients Statement declares only Soybean Oil and the Contains statement does not declare Soy. The label does not declare yellow # 5 and yellow #6.

A label that does not match the product can hide an ingredient someone must avoid, or show a wrong use-by date. All labeling errors recalls.

FDA lists this recall as terminated: the company has finished removing the product, so it should no longer be on shelves - but it can still be in a freezer or pantry.
