Morton Salt This Salt Does Not Supply Iodide recall

Recalled by Morton Salt Inc. · Silver Springs, NY, United States

Class III — Low risk. Unlikely to cause harm, but violates FDA regulations.

Why it was recalled

Canisters containing Iodized Salt are labeled with Plain Salt labels, causing dextrose and potassium iodide to be undeclared ingredients.

A label that does not match the product can hide an ingredient someone must avoid, or show a wrong use-by date. All labeling errors recalls.
