Why it was recalled

Finished product contains kratom (an unapproved food additive) and pH is over 5.0. The process authority letter classified product as acidified and pH cannot exceed 3.30.

These are failures of the safety steps that keep food safe - cooking, pasteurising, keeping cold, sealing - even when no contaminant has yet been found. All processing & sanitation problems recalls.
